If you are scheduled for surgery at The Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain General Campus, please report to the information desk at the front entrance of the hospital on the day of your surgery.
You must have someone drive you to and from the hospital on the day of the surgery. Someone must also stay with you for the first 24 hours when you go home.
DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO EAT OR DRINK AFTER MIDNIGHT THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR SURGERY AND NOTHING THE MORNING OF YOUR SURGERY. IF YOU DO EAT OR DRINK, YOUR SURGERY WILL BE CANCELLED.
The hospital will call you about one week prior to surgery to schedule any pre-op testing that the doctor has ordered. They will also call the afternoon before your surgery to give you the time to report to the hospital. At this time, they will go over all your medications and instruct you on how to take them the day of surgery.

What our patients are saying…
After seeing their many ads I convinced Dad to “just have a hearing test.” I wish he could use the computer himself to say how sorry he was to have waited so long to get help. This is a wonderful group, and it is easy to see that they truly care about us and enjoy what they do, which is help people hear again. Definitely recommend!– Lana K.
I am now able to breathe normally at 100% for the first time in 12 years! On top of that, cosmetically my nose, after having to be re-broken during the procedure looks natural, like it looked before it broke in my accident 12 years ago! Highly recommend if you are having breathing issues due to your nose. You will indeed be a changed person. Staff is awesome, also extremely friendly and welcoming.â– Michael S.
